Fun Stuff to do

While not doing research, field work, or teaching at The Evergreen State College, I occupy my time with a variety of energetic outdoor activities such as running, biking, backpacking, kayaking, and skiing. I love to travel for non-archaeological purposes (recently: the Big Island, Guatemala, Banff, Austria, Spain). My latest adventure has been the move from San Francisco to Olympia, WA. Due to the many opportunities for outdoor activities in my new home, I am adjusting well to life in the Northwest in spite of the rain.
